On New Year’s Day, January 1st, Breon Currie, 40, was fatally shot in Durham, North Carolina. Authorities report that Durham police responded to a shooting at a residence on Delbert Avenue shortly after midnight. Upon arrival, officers discovered three men who had sustained gunshot wounds.
