Vince Bravo Obituary, Motorcycle accident Munster IN, 26
Vincent “Vince” Bravo, 26, of Cooper City, Florida, formerly of Munster, Indiana, tragically passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, leaving behind a grieving family and circle of friends who are deeply saddened by the loss of a young man whose life was defined by love, loyalty, and an infectious spirit. Vince’s time on earth was far too brief, but he lived with a generosity and joy that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Born on October 27, 1999, Vince was raised in Munster, Indiana, where he forged lifelong friendships and developed a passion for sports and community. From an early age, he was active, playing Little League baseball and Pop Warner football, later continuing his athletic pursuits in high school with football and hockey. For Vince, sports were not just about competition but about teamwork, camaraderie, and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
In 2021, Vince moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he lived with his close friend Jack and began to build his future. He found a career that matched his strong work ethic and mechanical skill as an elevator mechanic with Local 71 in Miami. Vince’s passion for his work and his dedication to improving his life was evident in his plans to move back to Munster, closer to his family and friends, to continue his career and eventually start a family of his own.
Vince was fiercely devoted to his family, particularly his siblings, and always put others before himself. Friends often described him as the “glue” that held everyone together—the life of the party, the first to check on you, and the last to leave when someone needed support. His friendships were deep and lifelong; to Vince, friends were as close as family.
One of Vince’s greatest joys was bringing people together, especially on the Fourth of July. He became legendary for hosting huge celebrations, with more people, more fireworks, and more laughter every year. Vince found happiness in seeing others enjoy themselves, and his contagious laugh, warmth, and generosity made every gathering unforgettable.
Vince had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoying fishing, golfing, and spending time at the beach. A passionate sports fan, he supported the Chicago White Sox and Bears, recently embraced IU football after attending a game with his brother, and was a fan of the University of Miami. He lived in the moment, appreciating every day and never taking life for granted.
Vince is survived by his loving parents, Vincent and Karen Bravo; siblings, Derek, Brooke, and Bryce; grandparents, Robert and Linda Schwebke, and James Hollis; aunt, Laura (Chris) Dodson; uncle, Charles Bravo; godfather, Glen Toczydlowski; cousin, Kaylee LaChappell; and his cherished dog, Cho. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Bravo and Eileen “Lala” Hollis.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Kish Funeral Home in Munster, Indiana, with Reverend Charles Niblick officiating. Visitation will take place from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private.
Vince Bravo will be remembered for his strength, kindness, humor, and the immense love he shared with those around him. Though he was taken far too soon, his legacy lives on in the laughter he sparked, the bonds he built, and the countless lives he touched just by being himself.
